Most of our events are ticketed, which helps us cover the costs of putting them on.
We also host free events from time to time. And we know budgets can be tight, so we never want price to keep someone from joining us. If a ticket feels like a stretch, reach out about our sliding scale and promo tickets. We’ll do our best to help.

OUR STORY
HOW IT STARTED...
After years of driving to LA and LB to be in community, an OC native needed more. Something local and easy on the body.
It was hard to realize that if they truly wanted it in the way they envisioned it, they would need to create it themselves...
Encouranged by this new determination and with the support of key folxs, on April 2026, Playback Sundaze came to life!
With the goal of bringing friends and strangers together in a way that didn’t leave us beyond exhausted, we had our first day party in Costa Mesa.
A total chill vibe where you can just be you and most importantly...
We all get to be part of an intentional space centered around our love for music while highlighting our community in the best way!
We’re so thankful for it all! In just these few months, we’ve learned so so much!
Our Day Party season for 2026 is almost over, but we still need safe spaces to connect with each other year-round...
We truly appreciate all the amazing local businesses and organizations that are also building and adding to OC’s Queer and LGBTQIA2S+ Community.
We feel so fortunate to be partnering with them in different ways.
As of September, with the launch of "Mahjong & More!" and "Sapphic Night" we're adding to OC's social calendar, too!
